Ever since my late 30s, I was working full-time as a psychiatrist, raising two young kids, and trying to hold everything together. On the outside, life looked perfect, but inside I felt exhausted, sad, overwhelmed, and emotionally unstable. No matter how many books I read or tools I tried, nothing changed. I was reacting without meaning to and slowly losing the version of myself I once knew.
My turning point came when I watched a free masterclass in search of answers. In just one hour, I realized my overwhelm wasn’t random — and I uncovered the deeper causes behind it. My emotional sensitivity was connected to old pain I had pushed aside for years while studying, achieving, and taking care of everyone else. I also discovered I had Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune condition requiring more than medication, and an MTHFR gene mutation affecting my mood and energy. On top of that, hormonal shifts were disrupting my sleep and needed real treatment. Once I began addressing these layers, everything started to shift.
I learned that inflammation from autoimmune disease, neurotransmitter issues from MTHFR, and hormonal imbalances affecting sleep were all contributing to how I felt — not weakness or lack of willpower. Healing had to be emotional, hormonal, nutritional, and biological. As I worked through each layer, clarity and stability returned.
Today, I feel grounded, calm, and steady. I sleep well, wake up with energy, and feel present with my kids. Most importantly, I cracked the code to my own happiness — and now I am passionate about helping other women to experience the same freedom.
